We are very thankful for the $16,000 gift from Direct Relief International, which was used to purchase medical equipment. With this money, we purchased an ultrasound unit, suction unit, pulse oximeter, autoclave, hospital bed, oxygen tanks, nebulizers, and cabinetry. We also improved the security measures at the clinic to protect DRI's investment in our clinic. We are gracious for DRI's continued support of the Policlinico Peruano Americano. Approximately 90 patients per day will benefit from the new equipment and service expansion.
