HOST AN EVENT

Fundraising for Real Medicine is actually pretty easy! We’ll even provide you with the online tools to do so. Whether it’s a cocktail party or a bigger affair, events help us raise awareness of our work and allow people to support the cause while enjoying themselves.

BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR or PARTNER

We accept both in-kind and financial support from corporate partners. When your company is looking for charitable giving opportunities, or to do an office-wide fundraiser or sponsorship, we hope you will think of us.  There are opportunities for one-time donations, funding hospital wings or ambulances, or to support projects with a monthly stipend that suits your budget. We work with large corporations and small businesses, and welcome the opportunity to find the right cause marketing fit for you.

INVITE US TO SPEAK AT YOUR COMPANY OR EVENT

Real Medicine’s CEO and Founder Dr. Martina Fuchs is a medical doctor who saw a new and creative way to use her medical training and her “network of friends helping friends” to offer humanitarian support and development around the world, following RMF’s concept of ‘Liberating Human Potential’.  Her story will have you on the edge of your seat. They didn’t pick her as a Lifetime Remarkable Woman for no reason!  Invite Martina to speak at your event or fundraiser.

RUN FOR REAL

RMF is an official charity of the LA Marathon. Join our team in running the race (full, half or even the smaller ones) to fundraise for RMF.  And you’re not limited to the LA Marathon. Use our Fundraising tool to create a fundraising page for ANY physical challenge, race or otherwise, that you’re doing. Get friends and family to sponsor you on your personalized page!

SCHOOL FUNDRAISERS

Want to do a school fundraiser for charity? Do a bake sale, a car wash, a candy sale at a game, a read-a-thon, a dance-a-thon, or anything else that interests you! 

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD & RAISE AWARENESS

We depend on our network of friends helping friends helping friends. We always focus on the work above the publicity – but that doesn’t mean we don’t need the publicity!  Help us by following us on Facebook and Twitter, telling your friends to do the same, and sharing our posts.

When you receive our newsletter (and you do, don’t you?!) consider forwarding it to friends with a personal note.

MAKE US YOUR “CAUSE” ON FACEBOOK

Donate your birthday or encourage friends to support RMF by telling them you do – on Facebook.  Instead of birthday presents, friends can donate to your Cause. Our Causes page can be found here.

TRAVEL FOR REAL

From time to time, we offer travel deals with selected partners, allowing a % of your booking to go to RMF. If you are a member of the tourism industry, please let us know and let’s find a way to work together!  Contact us at info@realmedicinefoundation.org

CLIMB FOR REAL

Support our fearless climbers! In fall 2013, a group of men have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Each has a different story, but their goal is the same: to raise awareness and financial support for RMF.  Visit the Climb for Real webpage here.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

We are always looking for motivated, skilled and passionate volunteers both to support our main office operations and out in the field across many countries and numerous initiatives.  Volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and interests contribute to RMF.  We can use help with general marketing, fundraising, graphic design, and day-to-day support work as well as direct public health and medical work in any of our international programs.
