Dr. Abdias Joachin attended secondary school at the Collège Catts Pressoir in Port-au-Prince. After completion of his bachelor’s degree he graduated with a doctorate in Medicine from Université Lumière in Port-au-Prince in 2009. Dr. Joachin is also holding a position in General Medicine at the SODEC Hospital in Port-au-Prince, and has been teaching Semiology at the Modern American University of Haïti (UNASMOH). Dr. Joachin has been part of the Real Medicine Haïti team since August 2010. He is working at RMF’s free clinic at Hôpital Lambert Santé, helping to ensure public access to 24-hour emergency and general practice healthcare. He is fluent in French and Creole, and is interested in soccer, tennis and basketball, music and cinema.
