Dheepa Rajan, MD

Dheepa Rajan, MD, Real Medicine’s Coordinator, Global Projects, is from Houston, Texas. She earned her medical degree as well as a license in alternative medicine in Göttingen, Germany. Dheepa worked as a Technical Officer for the World Health Organization for 5 years where she focused on health systems strengthening and national health planning; in this capacity, she led projects in varied places such as DR Congo, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Nicaragua. She has previously worked for RMF in Jhabua, India in HIV prevention as well as the Swiss Tropical Institute in tropical disease care. Besides English, Dheepa speaks Tamil, German, French, and Spanish and is a classical Bharatha Natyam dancer.
