Dr. Mohammed Imran, MBBS, MPH, MSc

Dr Mohammed Imran graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College, dabbled in clinical practice for a couple of years before finding his niche in Public Health after getting his MPH from the Health Services Academy, Islamabad. He was part of the pioneer team that recognized HIV/AIDS as a pertinent issue in Pakistan and worked tirelessly to direct the focus of the Ministry of Health towards this arena. He won a Fulbright Scholarship to do a Masters in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health following which he assumed a leadership role in the National AIDS Control Program, playing a vital role in revising Pakistan’s National HIV/AIDS Strategic Framework and winning the Global Fund Round 9 grant. As a result, he enjoys a prominent reputation in the vast network within the Ministry of Health, both at national and provincial levels. He has a passion for research and has joined RMF as our Research Coordinator.
