Dr. Nkem Ndionuka

Dr. Nkem Ndionuka studied Medicine in Kharkov, Ukraine, graduated in 1994, and attended post-graduate studies in Switzerland. In 1996 he began practicing medicine in Nigeria, working in both the private and public sectors. He specializes in mental health with a special interest in substance abuse and rehablitation. By the end of 2006, he expects to complete a Master's Degree program in Refugees and Humanitarian Studies at the University of Lagos.He has a burning passion for the provision of total healthcare for all, especially the under-privileged and vulnerable members of society like slum dwellers, displaced persons, refugees, chidren and the aged.
His hobbies include reading, gardening and learning foreign languages. He is fluent in Russian and English and has some ability in German and French. He loves new challenges and would like to participate in the formulation of healthcare policy in international medical organizations.
