Helen Ouyang, MD, MPH

Helen Ouyang, MD, MPH is currently an emergency physician at the Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals. She received her undergraduate degree in International Development Studies from Brown University, her medical degree from Johns Hopkins, and her MPH from Harvard. She is a 2005-6 Zuckerman Fellow. She received the Harvard Student Recognition Award for her work with RMF in Pakistan. She has worked in many countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Liberia, Pakistan, India, and Peru, with organizations including RMF, UNHCR, WHO, Red Cross, Oxfam and IRC. She has experience in HIV/AIDS and TB and is currently focusing on human rights in humanitarian assistance.
