Louis Gessika, LPN

Louis Gessika is a Certified Nurse (LPN) and a member of RMF's supported medical staff at the Lambert Santé Hospital in Port au Prince. She speaks both Creole and French and has been working at Lambert Santé since April 2010. She received her nursing degree and training at the Institut Jeanne Mance of Canada. She works mainly in the Hospitalization sterilization and OR wards and takes care of the hospitalized patients referred from the free clinic.

In her words: “Feels that she has been participating in a great effort to alleviate the ailments and traumas suffered during the earthquake. Even if her involvement was in follow-up care, she believes that this program needs to continue.”
