Mr Abdulla Manan is originally from Azad Jammu Kashmir and came to Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad to obtain his Masters in International Relations. He began his career as an intern at OXFAM working in the field in far flung areas of Layyah and Jhang. He then joined Mercy Corps as social organizer in a TB dots health project based in Quetta following which he worked with Hashoo Foundation as a field coordinator. It was here that he interacted with RMF as an organization but he left soon after to work as a research officer with the Center for Peace and Development. As a part-time team member, he writes articles for different newspapers and magazines like the Pulse Islamabad and The Frontier Post.
With the advent of the floods in mid-2010, he volunteered his skills with RMF-GDF to write the reports for the Google Free Medical Camps. His reports were always submitted dot on time and of such high quality that we decided to offer him the position of Project Coordinator for the RMF-APPNA Clinic in Gulbella, Charsadda, which he graciously accepted.
