Sharon Levy has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years, specializing in pediatric and neonatal intensive care. Her passion is traveling and experiencing new cultures. She has been fortunate to be able to combine her skills and her passion on several overseas medical missions. Sharon heard about RMF through her friend Lisa Suen who ran the LA Marathon on behalf of Real Medicine in March 2010, raising money for Haiti. Sharon and Lisa traveled to India in May to volunteer for RMF's eradicate malnutrition program. Sharon was so impressed by the RMF workers she met there and their dedication to the organization. They have truly made a great impact on the local people of Jhabua, one of the poorest areas in all of India. Sharon looks forward to volunteering for RMF again and assisting with fund raising efforts in the US and abroad.
