Real Medicine Foundation’s team in India focuses on one of the country’s most impoverished and difficult areas in the country, Southwestern Madhya Pradesh. We have the largest field presence of any NGO working in malnutrition in this area, established the first Public/Private Partnership Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre for treatment of severe malnutrition in the country, and together with our local partner, Jeevan Jyoti Health Service Society and MP Government State AIDS Control Society, we have built the country’s most integrated public-private set-ups for HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, treatment, and care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. We work closely with local, state, and national government officials to strengthen and support existing health infrastructure and policy.

RMF has two projects in the India, a well-established HIV/AIDS program and a newer Childhood Malnutrition Treatment and Prevention Program that is growing by the day. Both projects are currently focused in the tribal districts of Madhya Pradesh: Our HIVAIDS program covers Jhabua, Alirajpur, and Nimach districts and our malnutrition program covers Jhabua, Alirajpur, Khandwa, Khargone, and Barwani districts. Our offices are located in Delhi, Bhopal and Jhabua, MP.
